From there went to the Sonya Sotomayor hearings where Al Franken asked such hard questions like events in a specific episode of Perry Mason. Franken didn't have to finish the sentence but for some reason Sotomayor new. The Republicans were said to go after her hard and some of them did like Senator Jeff Sessions. Then you have Senator Lindsay Graham making the statement that as long as you don't have a mental breakdown you will be confirmed. So that entire event was a waist of time. Oh yes, I forgot that Al Franken became a senator brought to you in part by ACORN, illegal unregistered voters and viewers like you.
During this time Barry was using the hearing as a distraction while he sat in a meeting with lobbyists about the upcoming Cap & Trade bill, a.k.a. Cap & Tax. This and the "Health Care Reform" bill were being heavily talked about. Sadly Michael Jackson passed away and since the news media were covering that 24/7 Barry decided to use that as a distraction for the House of Representatives to vote on the Cap & Tax bill, this after all week they were oddly talking about health care. Minority Leader John Boehner read some pieces of the 1000 plus page health care reform bill. After an hour and a half of reading the bill the great Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi came out and said, "let's not forget those four words that this legislation means: jobs, jobs, jobs and jobs! Let's vote for jobs!" After watching that I went to my fridge to have a beer and thought she forgot her pompoms.
How could we ever forget that popular beer summit that occurred with Officer Crowley and the Professor from Harvard. This was a very important teachable moment for all to see. It should that even Obama thought his health care bill is a crack of shit. Just like his Cash for Clunkers that was supposed to get the automotive industry working again, they worked but they didn't get paid. Did anyone get paid from the Cash for Clunkers program or did that just cause more debt? As for Speaker Pelosi, I hate calling her that, the argument of the CIA lying to them about waterboarding to terrorist. I don't understand the problem. Jihadist want to kill innocent people, they don't like the way of our living. They are brainwashed terrorist and they do deserve torture which isn't anything compared to torture in other countries. Waterboarding is the PG-13 version of interrogations. Get over it you stupid liberals.
The month of July saw the heated debate about the health care reform going on at town hall meetings and the people came out and were angry about it. These are the people who have a lot of free time now because they're home unemployed because the unemployment rate hit 9.5%, this wasn't supposed to happen because the great Obama said unemployment wouldn't hit 8% because of his stimulus bill. The town hall meetings and debating saw the great Barry's approval rating starting to tumble. As of this writing it's around 50%, I'm giving the rough average. This would continue into August where nothing was getting done and Barry wanted this health care reform done before the Senate went on recess. This didn't happen either and let's not forget the Democrats are blaming the Republicans because of this bill not getting the votes it needs. How quickly some people forget that the Democrats have full control over the House and the Senate. The Republicans don't have to vote on a bill for it to get passed. It's all the Democrats and they're just passing the blame onto someone else, only this time it's not working.
Worldwide saw the riots of Iran because of an alleged rigged election, don't get mad at me but they can't prove if ACORN was there or not. Obama said that the people in Iran had a right to protest which is nice of him to give his approval on something like that in another country. Wait a second! People do that here in this country only two things are different. First they're called Tea Parties and second they protest peacefully, which is why the news media doesn't pay much attention to them.
As the debate went on Barry Obama said the people were getting wee-weed up. For those of you who don't know what that means he pretty much said people are getting pissed off with the morons in control of political legislation and the health care bill itself. When Barry was away at Martha's Vineyard the lion of the senate, not the wizard of oz, passed away from brain cancer. They gave this criminal full coverage and treated him like royalty, what else would you expect from a member of Camelot. Let's not forget that Attorney General Eric Holder is now investigating the CIA about pretty much whatever he wants. For those of you who don't know who Eric Holder is, he's the guy who looks like a black Hitler. The head of the CIA Leon Panetta might even resign because he can't stand Obama and his administration.
Once again another end of summer another California fire. Is there really anything left to catch on fire in California. There have been so many fires in that state there can't be much more to catch on fire.
A Scotland judge released Abdul Baset Ali al-Megrahi from prison. A terrorist who was involved with an American Plane bombing in December 1988 over Lockerbie, Scotland. al-Megrahi was released because his cancer has gotten worse and his time is almost up on this earth. This was a terrible ruling the judge made, even Hilary Clinton and Barry were angry about this event. Everyone has the right to be angry about this. Innocent people were killed and this monster was let lose because the judge should empathy. Wait a minute! Empathy! I've heard that word before if only I can remember. Oh yes I remember now. Those were the words Obama used to explain what he would be looking for in a supreme court judge. Which would be Sonya Sotomayor. Now if Sotomayor makes a ruling like that, beside the case involving the New Haven firemen which was based on race, Barry can't say he didn't know. That's what he wanted and he got it.
It's only a matter of time to see what Barry and liberals will do next. All we can do is just sit, wait and have beer ready for the next summit because we're going to get wee-weed up and ready for 2010 and 2012. One last thing I need to mention is Sarah Palin stepping down from being Governor of Alaska. Many people think she's a quitter and she has skeletons in the closet, unlike Barney Frank who has boys in his. They have been digging for a year now and still can't find anything that is sticking other than "she's stupid". I just wonder what these people think of Joe Biden. Don't rule her out and watch out because we haven't seen the last of her. I'm going to put it this way on todays date, September 2, 2009, there are two and a half years until we find out who the Republican front runner is going to be. Politics will be played and the best will, most likely, be the winner of the nomination. If that happens to be Sarah Palin I do believe she will do a fantastic job. She will bring pride and dignity back to this country and won't apologize for everything that our country has done, except for maybe between 2009 and 2012.
